		<description>Good post. A couple months ago I had a 2000 Roussanne Gideon made at Renaissance. It was wonderful. Best Rhonish White I&#039;ve had in years, including whites from the actual Rhone.
But again, something made in Zen-like quantities.</description>

		<description>Last year, at a local winemaker dinner where wines were tasted blind. Someone brought a Renaissance Cabernet from the late 90s, I believe. When it came time for me to taste it, I said that no one can fool me; this is a Pauillac.

Love those old school CA.</description>
