They were out of ostrich/emu eggs, but you could buy individual eggs from around six different birds. It's weird seeing a single duck egg with a little price sticker on it. This was right above a bin of mushrooms where you could purchase bulk morels for $50/lb. Epicurious had a Top 10 Food Trends for 2009 that included the prediction "Peruvian is the new Thai". Denver's the only city I've ever been in that had Peruvian restaurants, and that was simply because of an actual Peruvian community.
