Felicien, thanks for all the research and information. It sounds as if you are in some aspect of the wine trade, either in the making or selling or writing. If hope you continue to check out this blog and my website.

Emmanuelle Kreydenweiss gently answered my request for clarification. She owns the 'Domaine Les Grimaudes' and its 6.5 ha. It is a operation separate to 'Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss'. It is run in biodynamics and shares the chai with 'Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss'.
Her husband Marc is only supporting Domaine Les Grimaudes.

Emmanuelle Kreydenweiss might not be Marc’s daughter.
Here is more from the group site: 'Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss' offers four bottlings from the Rhône valley : Ansata, Perrières, Les Grimaudes, Barbabelle.
Only 'Les Grimaudes' is specifically 'made' by
Emmanuelle Kreydenweiss. The one you recommend -- 'Perrières' -- not so.

Thanks for the background. 75cl.com tells the the story slightly differently: the Domaine des Grimaudes 2002 is 'made' by Emmanuelle Kreydenweiss (Marc's daughter). Actually the appellation site confirms that 'Domaine des Grimaudes' is the brand.

Hi, Felicien, thanks for the message. Kreydenweiss is one of the best and oldest estates in Alsace, founded in 1650. In 1990 the estate went 100% biodynamic. From property the family acquired in the south, they began releasing two red wines a couple of years ago. This is an unusual move for a family in Alsace, where they tend to stick close to the ground. Thanks for visiting the blog and the website.

Thank you Fredric for this interesting list.
I had heard that Marc Kreydenweiss was experimenting things in Alsace.
So I am surprised that you attribute a costières-de-nîmes to him. Would you have details on this operation?
